The invention that truly reduces the impact of such a move was that of Alexander Graham Bell. The internet (invented by Al Gore I hear) does quite a job itself.

Travel costs will be reduced by LENR, but not all that much. There’s still the cost of the plane, the mechanical support, the flight crew, airport workers… Flying will not be free just because the fuel is free.

This is the sort of thing that LENR will have very little if any impact on. I suppose we could say that travel expenses would be much less and that might help.
